I love that you are unafraid to admit mistakes happen and you effortlessly pivot around them and make them a feature of the piece. In the future, if you want to draw contrast with colors via any cracks like you did here with the white, try using silver or gold for your resin color! It'll be very similar to kintsugi, which is intended to create beauty out of something broken using precious metal to repair broken pottery.

For this project, we decided to create a moon lamp with a lovely pinecone pattern. First, we placed the pinecone in a mold, added some brightly colored epoxy and carved it into shape. Then we performed some cutting and shaping to get the cool, segmented finish.

In this video, I make a lamp of stone and epoxy. Resin art Blue epoxy lamp. First you had to find a suitable stone. I split it in half. Mixed epoxy. Do not forget to mix thoroughly 2 times. And also, if necessary, heat with a hairdryer so that the bubbles come out. For the frame, I used aluminum wire and tape, + I made the top with a glue gun. Beautiful blue color for epoxy mixture. Flooded the stone. After it hardened, I first wiped the fraction 100 with sandpaper and then 400, 600, 1000, 1500 and polished it. As a result, a stone was obtained that you can simply admire or make a lamp or a night lamp out of it. This resin wall hanging wood art has embedded mardi gras beads.
